Afriyan-Ad-for-web

Who?

Does your organisation work with young people (youth led or youth serving)?

Is your organisation working in the areas of youth empowerment programming, reproductive health and livelihood?

Is it doing interventions in Uganda?

Are you interested in being part of a movement of young people to network, build each other’s capacity, mobilise resources and do joint advocacy?

We are looking for you!

What?

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), in a bid to have meaningful youth participation birthed AfriYAN (African Youth and Adolescent Network) which has grown into a strong movement across the East,Central and Southern Africa. African countries each have their own AfriYAN chapter. AfriYAN Uganda is currently operating as a loose network of organizations that seek to eliminate Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) related challenges among young people today to ensure that they live a quality life.

RAHU is currently the UNFPA implementing partner tasked to register AfriYAN Uganda, create awareness about it’s existence and map more youth led and youth serving organisations to join the network.
